I am trying to install a D1 t-case shifter in my DII and I'm finally at the point where I just need 4 bolts and a frickin' nut to complete it. I can't get the part #s because I haven't been very successful telling roverconnection, "I need the thing that fastens the doohickey to the t-case bolt thingy." So a picture is worth a thousand words. Here we go.

I need part numbers for these 4 bolts:
shifter

Here's another perspective, same bolts:
tcase

And I need the part number for the nut that goes on this:
cdl nut

to secure this:
cdl lever

Thanks for any help. The shifter ain't doing me any good if I can't attach the darn thing.

Ok, Here's where I say, "It worked in the test area." Damn, let me try again.

And it secures this little doohickey:

Any help with LR part numbers or even NAPA is appreciated.

The part the secures the "little doohickey" is just a washer and a self-locking nut. I don't have a parts manaul for the D1 and the parts manual for the D2 doesn't show those items so I can't get you a LR Part number. But if you pick up a couple of metric nuts in that size range you should be able to figure out what size you need. As for the transfer box selector bolts any LR parts supplier with a parts manual should be able to help you.

Bolts:
longer ones #BH108111L
short ones #SH108251L
(But I´m pretty confident some M8 bolts in the correct lenght will do)

Nut:
#NY108041L

I took the data from a RangeRover catalogue. I don´t think there were changes in the threads.
But follow Offroaddiscos proposal first.

Thanks, guys. I picked up a few metric nuts today and will crawl under tonight and see which one fits.

If no one pops up with the part numbers for the bolts on a DI, I will call around and see if I have better luck. I might be able to use the RangeRover part numbers to at least tell them what the heck I am talking about.

Thanks again,
Rick
