i got a replacement mirror for my side mirrir and i can't get it to go in. i see all to post about it just clipping in, but how. i slideone side on but can't get the other. it seems as if it should be easy. any suggestions? |

Jeb, When I did mine I would not describe it as "easy". I was at the point where I thought I would break something else if I pushed harder, but a little bit more and it snapped in place. TrevorH |

Hey, I did this just recently and it took me forever as well to figure it out, but there is just a little trick to it that does not require you to just "snap it on". Get the outside piece locked on (one furtherst from truck) then kind of push the other side of the mirror against that part and it will flex the mount on that side and then should just push right into the inside (closest to truck) mount. Hope that made sense. |
