I went to Auto Zone to have them check why my "service engine soon" light came on at 50k. I have a 99 DII. It cam bakc with a "powertrain" code of 00, which they said meant it had no powertrain faults? And two chassis codes. But they didn't know what they meant. One was 1_9 and the other was 009. Does anybody know what they mean? Thanks, Brian |

The service engine light is triggered by mileage It doesnt mean anything is wrong. The check engine light is triggered by a malfunction of some type. |

on a DII, service/check engine light are rolled into one service engine light as compared to a DI FWIW |
