I went to Auto Zone to have them check why my "service engine soon" light came on at 50k.
I have a 99 DII.
It cam bakc with a "powertrain" code of 00, which they said meant it had no powertrain faults?
And two chassis codes. But they didn't know what they meant.
One was 1_9
and the other was 009.
Does anybody know what they mean?

Thanks,
Brian

The service engine light is triggered by mileage It doesnt mean anything is wrong.

The check engine light is triggered by a malfunction of some type.

on a DII, service/check engine light are rolled into one service engine light as compared to a DI
