I need to order up a front driveshaft today and was hoping someone has the measurements so I can give Tom Woods a call. Thanks in advance! |

You think he doesn't know how long to make one for a Disco? Have you called him? |

He'll ask. He always asks. Mine was 25 1/4 but, yours could be different. I'm running RTE front arms and I think they are a little longer then stock. You are best off just crawling under there and measuring it. |

Yeah, I didn't think about caster correction arms-sorry. I'm more worried about length extended versus collapsed-how long the spline is, etc. |

Joshua, Once you get the numbers, would you please post them here, or email me? My front driveshaft really needs to go... |

Josh, I just went out to the shed and measured my stock front shaft. Compressed it is close to 24" total length. It seems to have about 2" of extension before it uncouples . . . so Eric's 25-1/4" might be a good size for your ~3" lift. |

I called them and placed the measurement at 24-3/4" I thought this was a nice medium and I also measured with the good old tape to confirm. Great service so far, hope to see the shaft on thursday! |
