I just purchased an OBDII and received numerous codes including: O2 sensor malfunction and o2 sensor high voltage as well as cylinder 5 misfires and "random/multiple misfires". My question is: Are all of these related, for example, if I replace the o2 sensors, will the misfires possibly go away? What is the best course of action? 96' disco 114k |

O2 Sensors don't last forever. You should replace them as they probably never have been. You will reap the benefits of better gas mileage. Also, the misfires could be as simple as spark plugs/wires. I would replace all the above, clear the codes out, then see if they come back. After that you can get more sophistacated with solutions. http://www.discountrovers.com has good prices on genuine O2 sensors. Tom |
