I have a 97 Disco and no matter how often I change my wiper blades/fills, they still seem to chatter.

I recently tried the Trico Teflon series. They work well when clearing a fully wet window. But under normal rain, the blades still chatter excessively unless I set the wipe speed on high.

I looked at the blade angle against the window and it looks fine.

By the way, I used to use RainX windshield washer fluid. I think that it is still on the window and therefore reduces the amount of water the wiper can "float" on.

Any thoughts?

Before going with Griots (which is great stuff) I'd first try a clay bar. You can find it at most auto parts stores. Just be sure to use lots of the lube/spray on the glass. You'd be suprised how much crap you can pull of your winshield and headlights.

use clay magic on the front windscreen - its not the blades but more than likely the deposits on the glass. this can be caused by hard water, tree sap and general urban spew....
