I am planning on manufacturing my oun beadlocks for my 15x8 steel wheels. I was just wondering what am I to do with the inner side-wall bead? I mean, he outer one is completely lockes, what about the inner one? Can't it slip as well? Thanks |

Basically it is not necessary to lock the inner bead since the outer lock keeps the tire from spinning on the rim. Generally most rims have a larger bead area on the inner bead so it is more difficult to loose the inner bead. and the majority of off road forces are against the outside bead. check out: http://www.rockstomper.com/catalog/wheels/beadlocks.htm |
