My problem is that when I enter the security code
for the radio after it has been reset the code
doesn't seem to work and I know the code is right
and also the security light is not flashing. Any
feedback on what to do.

Just happened to me too. But now i got it working. I just drove the truck for 1 hour and i punch the code and it worked. When you trying to type the code do you hear a beep? Hope this helps. Thanks.........

First thing is that the security light doesn't
seem to be working, I don't know if thats a
problem but when I punch the code it makes a beep
and then nothing. naybe I have to be driving and then punch the code.

leave the power on the truck on and the radio on for an hour,the radio will reset and you can put the correct code in.you get 3 tries before the radio locks out again.there is a way to reset the radio by shorting out a terminal but you would need to pull the radio out.if this does not work you can e-mail me and i can tell you if you have the correct radio code or not. |
