Hello, OK, so my 3" Rovertym lift and brake line extensions are installed, now I need to extend my ABS lines (they are tight with just the lift). However before cutting into the lines I was wondering if someone out there that has done this could give me some tips. 1. What type of wire should I use? Copper or Aluminum, What size? 2. Is it possible to move the front ABS lines to the back? The front lines are allot longer than the rear and this would save me from cutting all four. Can they be moved from the front to the back? If so how do I do it? 3. Anyone know how much new ABS lines cost? What else do I need to know? Thank you, Thank you, Thank you, 2001 DII |

Dave, I managed to get a set of connectors off of a salvaged DII and made extensions for my line. I simply soldered each male connector to the wire from the female connector, then I just disconnected my factory lines and installed my extension. Others have cut and extended their factory lines with mixed results. The lines are VERY expensive from the dealer as they have the sensors attached. Don't know if you could move the front to the rear, again, because the sensors are attached. I would look for a wrecked DII before I cut the factory lines. Mine were copper wire inside. |

Dave, I ordered mine from a post listed on D-Web for parting out a 01 Disco 2. I got all four for like $38.00 plus shipping. Good deal I thought. Greg |

HMM, not having much luck locating the connectors, does anyone know if the Range Rover or other rovers have an ASB connector that I could use? |
