I just installed the Rovertym 2" springs on my 98 disco. On the ride home I noticed a slight vibration on accel and around 53+ mph. had very slight vibe around 30-32mph. when letting off gas vibe goes away. seems to be more from seat of pants than steering wheel. my driveshafts have u-joints and I thought that the 2" lift might not cause the vibration. what can I do to offset this vibration. wife drives that disco during the week and I have it on weekends so need to remedy the vibration issue for her.

first try to figure out if the vibe is coming from front end or rear end... so remove the rear DS, lock the CDL, and drive around. if you dont have any vibes, its probably in the rear.
If you still have vibes, remove front DS, lock CDL and try again.

IMHO...start by checking then balencing the tires

if that fixes it great !

if not put the truck in park on a flat area, lay under it while 2 other people roll it forward and back aggresivily watch each drivline u-joint/roto flex very close for any shifting in the joint

replace any that move at all

if they are all tight and it still vibes then you may want to move to Will's remove the drive shaft method above

Also, keep in mind that the 2" springs may have provided closer to 3" of initial lift until they start sagging. Throw in several hundred pounds and see it that helps. If it does, you'll have to convince your wife that the Disco requires bumpers, sliders, roofracks :)

U-joints are well greased?

I checked tire balance and greased u-joints when putting in springs. also checked u-joints for play and found all to be ok. I feel the vibration more through the seat than through the steering wheel so I thought it might be more from the rear but the angle on the rear driveshaft does not look that bad. I will try removing the shafts one by one and checking that way next.
