I want to put a flowmaster in my d1. does anyone know the part number for flowmaster for one that fits best....and it is a 2.5 inch pipe right? Also, how much have you guys with flowmasters paid for the muffler and for the installation.
Thanks,
Will Roeder

I put a 50 Series Flowmaster on my D1 and I am very happy with it.

2 weeks ago I put a 50 flo on my disco minus the resignator. From the cat back it cost me $220. I did it b/c I wanted my disco to sound like it had a V8. Alhough I was bummed by the lack of v8 sound when I picked it up from the shop, I was very impressed with the (major) performance improvements. I've spend a lot money for junk for my truck over the years, but this was the best bang for the buck yet. I get a return on investment everytime I step on the gas.

I guess I should see how it affected my milage.

BTW, make sure you tell the installer to tuck the pipes up good. You don;t want to snag it while off raod. My mechanic did a good job except for the big chrome (welded) tip that stuck out under my bumber. I had to have him remove it.
