i went to the tire place today for some 235/85 bfg mt's which turned out to be $160. but the guy could get me some 265/75's for $115 blemished (the white side has a mark on the letters i guess). but now im worried about steering bump stops. what do i need to do about all that? whatre the cons if i dont have them and how much and where can i get them? also how much do they decrease turning radius cause it already is pretty wide. |

If this is a DII with stock rims, you do not have to alter the steering stops. (Or at least I didn't.) You will have to move back your front fender wall however. |

Look under tech section up above, then "Rear Fender Relocation" |

Dave, Check the thread called "Disco II...245/75 or 255/70???" I explained it and posted pictures. It's a pretty easy fix, and I was happy with it for a long time. |

Got 265s on my D1. Turning radius is lesser than stock (sorry no geometrical patterns). No spacers but installed longer bolts (Pep boys) for steering stops. Warning: it bends. Replace it with new ones. Thats about it. |
