I have removed my front driveshaft to isolate a driveshaft vibration and I can not seem to get the cdl to lock in. Disco rolls whenever brake is released. I wanted to dive with front shaft out and see if vibration was gone. vehicle is 98 disco. |

did it lock smooth before you pulled the shaft?
try turning the front output flange by hand a quarter turn or so with the transfercase in "N" then back into 4h over to lock? |
