Can anyone give me an idea of what it might cost to replace a blown head gasket (parts and labor) on a 95 Disco? Mine went on Saturday with 140,000 miles and i'm debating just trading it in instead of getting it fixed. What do you all think?

How much do you think you'll get for a vehicle that doesn't run, that is perceived as "expensive to repair"?

Whatever it costs, I'll bet it is cheaper than 3 car payment on the new D2.

Dee,
How do you know if the heads need to be done, I'm at 111K? I just had the intake/valey and valve gaskets done and they told me the top end looked nice and clean. I'm sure I just showed how green I am when it comes to working on cars.

Well if you have the heads off and its in the budget id go with fresh head rebuild just had mine done for 280. i had all new parts. but most likely all you will need is seals and guides.
