Can anyone give me an idea of what it might cost to replace a blown head gasket (parts and labor) on a 95 Disco? Mine went on Saturday with 140,000 miles and i'm debating just trading it in instead of getting it fixed. What do you all think? |

How much do you think you'll get for a vehicle that doesn't run, that is perceived as "expensive to repair"? -L |

Whatever it costs, I'll bet it is cheaper than 3 car payment on the new D2. |

Dee, How do you know if the heads need to be done, I'm at 111K? I just had the intake/valey and valve gaskets done and they told me the top end looked nice and clean. I'm sure I just showed how green I am when it comes to working on cars. |

Well if you have the heads off and its in the budget id go with fresh head rebuild just had mine done for 280. i had all new parts. but most likely all you will need is seals and guides. |
