Just wanted to let anyone know who was thinking about this size and tire that it is great. It not only fills the wheel well better giving it the look it should have had out of the factory but also giving a much quieter ride. I have had it under almost as much articulation as I can get (considering Florida) and it does not come close to rubbing. However I have overcome the fear of trimming if it came to that anyway. Thanks for your advice those who helped back when I was looking into these tires.

Don't you mean 245/70r16s?
I've got those BFG TA KOs .... but haven' seen/heard of any 247/70r16.

Yes, I'm sorry in the rush of borrowing someone's computer becuase my ethernet card was fried I just missed that. Sorry about that. 245/70/16.
