i have a chance to get these 32x11.50 BFG AT's for free....but i have to go to 15 inch rims...is that going to work?...and what other mods to i need to make to fit these tires... i am assuming i need the OME HD lift...the diameter shouldn't be an issue..i mean 235/85 are 31.8 inches or somethin' like that...i am worried about width...what mods do i need to make...thanks thanks guys... i need this info so please feel free to e-mail me [email protected] |

go for it - take the free tires and you can get them to fit just fine. 15" rims are no problemo - pick up the AR or Nato's or whatever in 15". A little painless trimming and/or pull the rear quarter panel out a little bit, OME suspension, and you're home free. |

really....i was also curious about...well 235/85's are 31.8 inches in diameter on 16's...but on 15's they are 30.8...is this the same if you were dealing with a 32inch tire...or are they the same on 15 and 16 inch rims????thanks... |

Jess, a 32" tire would be the same regardless of rim size. a 235/85/16=31.8", a 235/85/15=30.8" for this type of sizing, you take the 235/85 ratio and then add it to the rim size. the 32x11.50 might be too wide to fit easily though, you would have to play with the offset of the wheel. |
