I'm installing a new Safari Gard front bumper today and the instructions don't say anything about where to relocate the water bottle (with the enclosed kit). Can someone please tell me where the new water bottle is supposed to be located to. Thanks in advance, Rob |

Dee - There is no way the new water bottle will fit anywhere near the battery. I have a 2002 Disco if that makes any difference. Any other suggestions? I'm done with the bumper install except for the water bottle. Rob |

if it is a DII it goes on the pass side fire wall thats where mine is. Also my pressure wast dramticaly reduced after I changed out my bottles as the new bottle cam with it's own motor just curious if anyone else has had the same effect. I can live with it but it is annoying. Ken |

Check for kinks in the lines for your windshield washers or a clogged/obstructed outlet on your water tank. Also, check for leaks. No way moving the tank should result in lower pressure (at least not moving it less than 6 feet). Thanks, Mike B. |

You're right but you not just changing the position it is a different bottle and different motor. ken |

Can someone please post a picture of their new water bottle placement? We looked everywhere and can't find a spot. The passenger side firewire has no space for it. The battery area has no place for it. Maybe my installer and I are too dense and are overlooking something. I'm leaving the shop today and would really like to complete this install. |

Why does the water bottle have to be moved/replaced? |

The bottle gets mounted on the Pass. side firewall. The original bottle is on the pass side low in the bumper when you put the SG bumper on the bottle will hang lower then the bumper and you can see it hanging out. so you need to replace the orginal bottle with a D-90 botlle and a relocating kit. Hope that helps Ken |

Ken - thanks for the pictures. We ran out of time to do the water bottle relocation so I will just have to wait for another free weekend. In my Disco there appears to be a bunch of stuff that would have to be relocated to fit the new water bottle on the passenger side firewall (although it is the only spot that looks remotely feasible). Thanks to all for your help. |
