Dash light and r/h tail light fuse burnt 14 times. Found glove box light loose and shorting to frame. Wraped edge of frame with electrical tape, and tape on light fixture sides where rivets that hold metal bulb supports. I had lots apart, the dash display off tail lights out looking for a shorted bulb. The biggest problem was it was intermittent, weeks went by with no problem. Then my wife opened the glove box, the lights went out. BINGO!! Why is the glove box light wired to the r/h tail lights? Why should I have to turn on the parking lights to see in the glove box? 97 Disco B.C. |
