Fellas, The Stealership wants $400 to install running boards on my D2. That's absurd!!! Is it pretty easy installing the running boards? I would think, I also have all the parts and screws and misc stuff. I'm in LA, if you guys could give me some tips, pionters, a place that will install them for cheap that would be excellent. Mark, Have you gotten under the truck to take a peak at where they would mount? I don't know about the D2 but when I removed them from my D1 it was REALLY straight forward. 4 bolts per side and one bolt for each mud flap on the front. Took me all of 15 minutes. I can't imagine the D2 being that different. Todd |

LR standard is 2-hours labor to install; that should be about $200 max. Anything more is excessive- try another dealership. |
