My 1995 TDi 300 has recently started to produce a lot more smoke on acceleration than usual. Performance doesn't seem any different but I am blowing out a lot more smoke than I did a few weeks ago. What could it be? All suggestions of what to check greatly appreciated. Steve G |

could be that the fuel has been changed. with my oil burner benz's you had to play with the boost to make sure you make enough exhaust heat to fully burn all the fuel. by using an exhaust pyrometer you can match the boost to the quality of fuel. dont know much about TDi's but I know Otto has talked about similar tune tricks on his |
