Do any of you guys know why my drivers side head lamp will not light up as bright as the "normal" left side light? Sometimes it doesn't work at all, but then suddenly kicks in at about 75% strength. This couldn't be the bulb, so what else? I hope you guys can help. Emilio Fabris |

I'd be looking for some corrosion in a connector. Check the plug that connects to the light itself and any other plugs inline with it. Shane |

I had a similar problem with one of my old cars (a Nissan 240sx convertible). The ground wire going to that headlight was going bad. I'd be driving and the light would flicker, go out, or just be dim. So, try checking the ground. Also, I don't know what type of Disco you have, but on my DII, I just had an odd occurance with my headlight. I noticed my right one was very dim, so I pulled the bulb out. The glass part of the bulb was broken and large parts of it were gone, but the elements were still intact and working. I replaced the bulb with a new one and all is well. I have no idea how the hell the glass around the bulb broke. -Tommy |

thanks guys. I think my troubles are the ground wire. The way I see it, the wire doesn't have enough of a connection in order to ground out all the current running through it so it "bottle necks" (if thats even possible with electricity) thanks again c ya Emilio |
