Hey Guys. I currently have the 2" OME lift but want to go higher. If I get custom spring spacers made (1.5") do I need to extend the brake lines? Also, could I fit the spacers on the front as well? Lastly, should I get the castor correction kit for this much lift? |

ok...i just found out that a trutrac diff in the front will help the wandering freeway ride so forget the question about castor correction. But the other 2 questions still stand. |

Emilio - did you REALLY get 2" out of the OME? You might be better off getting some of the RTE 2" or 3" springs. I've thought about spacers but I think the springs will cost as much. As for the brake lines, I think you'll find that anything much taller than the OME 40mm lift will require longer brake lines and ABS lines. |

Emilio, I have used spacers from 1" to 2", but if resources are available, I'd go with taller springs. If you are still intent on spacers, e-mail me off list as I have made some for people, and they are very reasonable when fabricated instead of machined. And yes, the True-Trac will definitely help with the wander. Made a world of difference with my DII. Which reminds me, my front spacers only work on DII's. Sorry if that's a problem. |

I can get 4 pcs of 4" aluminmum cut to length for $50 CAN. All I need to do then is get them installed. but I still don't know if it will work in the front. |

Spacers work well in the front too, except keep in mind your shock mounts inside the springs. Either a longer shock, or your spacer should have a top and bottom plate in order for you to fit the shock to the plate as before. |
