Hey all, Yesterday, locked up my brakes in my Disco II. Now the ABS, HDC, and TC lamps are lit and will not go off. Spoke with the service department at the dealer and he mentioned that it is probably a sensor issue and should be nothing to worry about. He suggested cycling the ignition several times, which I have done with no luck. Has anyone had a similar experience, or have any ideas? Will I need to visit the dealer to get them to testbook it? Thanks for your help. |

Testbook is probably the only thing that will reset it at this point. Never had this problem, but if the computer senses repeated faults or a severe fault, only the testbook will reset it. |

I have had this prob. a couple of times. If I remeber corectly it it was a faulty relay or somthing. The first time the dealer just resest the light the second time they did somthing (relay I think). It hasn't done it since that was about 2 years ago. Ken |

I had this problem with my 2001 DII. I stopped at a stoplight, and when I pulled away, those same 3 lights were litup. Dealer took care of it. I don't know what the deal was with it, but it's fixed now. -Tommy |

On the ABS, HDC, and TC lamps... just got back from the dealer who got me in this afternoon. According to the dealer, the ECU was receiving initermittent error codes from the L/R ABS hub assembly. HDC, TC, and ABS are all "connected" in a manner of speaking. They swapped in a new hub assembly and reset the codes with Testbook. All is now well. Thanks all for your responses. Keith |

BTW,... the codes that were thrown as read by testbook were: 04,5: Rear Left sensor output too low 08,5: Rear Left sensor signal erratic |
