I'm still looking for the downgraded light bulb that fits into the 1156 style base on the ARB lights. I'm running them as running lights and would like a 5watt bulb to put in them. I can't figure out which bulb that is. Mucho troubles. If you can shed some insight into which bulb would fit my needs I would greatly appreciate the help. I ran the larger ARB bulbs in the fixtures this way and the damn things melted the lense and housing. I managed to get a new set of lights from ARB for free so I would like to put the correct bulb in for this application. Help greatly appreciated. Thanks, Greg |

Okay, I found some that are 5W and will fit in the base. They seem to be working fine. I'll post the model number when I get home, but I do remember the packaging said Euro 5W something or another. It did have a standard bulb number though. I scored some free replacements from ARB for my melted ones, so we will see how the 5 watters do. I've sealed these puppies 6 ways till sunday, so hopefully they won't fill with water like the last ones did, and the spot in the gromet should let excess water that gets in drain out. Fingers crossed. |

Okay, the light bulb model number is: Sylvania 5007 (R5W) European Lamps This is a standardized bulb number I think, but I bought this at pepboys and it is a 5 watt bulb that will fit into the ARB fixture. |
