What would be better XD8000i or XD9000i for a defender 90 station wagon?

They both are the same speed and both with an integrated solenoid. So the only difference is 1000 pounds of pulling power. Usually with a 90 you can get away with an 8000 pretty easily. But between the two... why not have more power? Thats my opinion, for further info please do a Keyword search...

I have the 8000 fitted to my 90 and have had great luck with it.

I am pretty sure there is another difference between the two besides the 1K pulling power but I cant remember. I know I have heard guys talking about it, either something to do whith how hard it is to stall it out or something with the brake I believe. Anyway what I do know is that I have used a 9K and a 8K and for only $100 more or so for the 9K it is well worth it. That 8K of my friends is always stalling out and it is only on a jeep, I have yet to stall the 9,000 on my disco going through some of the same stuff he does.

Don't forget they do make the 15,000lb Hmmmm,Hmmmm.
You could make up the cash by pulling F350's out of big holes.
