Installed new OME HD springs and shocks and everything looked fine and even. After driving around 500 miles highway it now sags in the right front a few inches lower/ Both front springs are the same (right) Any idea to what is wrong? |

That all depends on who you bought them from. some vendors EE for example "match" the springs so that the fronts and rears are identical. OME sells passenger and drivers side springs. The passenger springs are shorter than the drivers side to compensate for the extra weight on the drivers side. I'm not sure why they do this since most folks have passengers in their cars? What this means is when just you are in the truck your truck is level. Makes sense huh? |

OME makes shims that will solve you problem. I believe they are cheap and easy to install. I think there called packers???? |

they have different spring sizes because the gas tank on most other country's models have it on the driversish side mid body like placement. So when ordering springs you can get the real hard core brittish thing (lobsided)which is level over there or the NAS level sitting suspension. I saw this on one of the suspension web sites, ie: OME $G or one of the other... Ross Thoma |

Mike, if it really is 'a few inches lower' than you might have a bad spring, which can be warrantied? If it is just a small amount of difference then a spring packer might work. Or the DS front spring as a replacment, if you originally orderd PS springs. Call EE and sort it out. Also, if the front right spring is bad it should have the opposite effect after you switch the front springs. |

I've got the OME HD springs as well. After about a month, passenger side, but especially the front passenger side is 1.5 inches lower than the driver side. The springs are warrantied and the problem is being rectified. contact EE and they'll take care of you I would definitely imagine.. good guys there.. except for that John guy, oh and that Ho guy.. look out for him Just kidding.. I'm tired.. Later..RS |

you can use trim packers, but only on the rears. not a good idea for the fronts. yeah talk to the boys at EE. my front right is a little low. but also remember EE sells OMEs that are 'matched' sets. no passenger side or driver side springs. all the same. |
