Anyone know a good way to remove deep tint laminate on the inside of the door windows applied by those aftermarket tint shops? Mine looks as if it could be peeled off like a decal as the laminate edge at the top of the window is a mm or 2 gap of plain glass exists where the laminate stops just shy of the top of the smoothed edge of the glass itself. Anyone? Ron Ward |

Windex with Amonia, i own a tint / vinyl shop that is what we use, soak it down and scrape it off with a brand new stainless razor |

I've had a great deal of success doing this using a heat gun. Just heat and pull gently but firmly... |

I've used a squirt bottle with water and baby shampoo. Spray it on the scrap off with a razor blade. Don't recommend if the window has a defroster in it, never done one of those. Shane |

johnvigg has the best plan, i have removed tint before and the amonia will freak the glue out to the point you could almost wipe it off with a rag (you will still need a razor to get the stubborn crap). mike w |
