I bought a used '98 D1. The diff end of the rear driveshapft has a U-Joint. All other Disco's I've looked at have a Rotoflex. Someone told me LR switched to a U-joint on the '98 model. Is this true or has a previous owner swapped the Rotoflex out?

Consider yourself $400 dollars richer, I have a 95 D1 with the rotoflex, it was cracked, so I replaced it. now I get all kinds of vibrations due to my 2"lift. I should have put in the u-joint shaft. But you are correct, they did switch to the u-joint, but for some reason I had heard that the 99 D2 had the rotoflex again.
I believe they switched back to u-joints again.
