I have a noticeable "clunk" that I hear when on the gas and then quickly letting off the gas. When you let off the gas slowly there is no "clunk"? Any help on what this might be would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. |

Sounds like typical Rover drive train clunk to me. Maybe check your universal joints. |

my opinion...could be a number of things...none serious. gears in the diff...there is a small amount of play as the gears engage and dissengage, also can come from the axle splines...same scenerio. U joints also of course. You can check for play by getting under the truck and rotating the drive shaft while in park...you will probably feel some play. very normal but knowing the source will probably make you feel better. brian friend |

Check your A arm bushings on the rear suspension. |
