The white plastic wheel that rides on the regulator track is broken. I was hoping to Get the part from the dealer for $.49, but they don't have that, but wil sell the regulator for $86. I tried couple of hardware and auto stores, could not find it. Any Ideas?

Al:
I have heard of folks using the wheels from sliding glass doors to fix the regulators.

That said, there are other ways that these components break, also.

In addition to the rollers and the regulator assembly itself, pay close attention to the motor mountings as they can come loose and the motor will drive itself until it disconnects the wiring harness. Mine cammed itself right out of the keyholes.

There is a posting in the TECH section on how to do this. Apparently you can replace that broken plastic wheel with a washer from Home Depot.

Go to the HELP section of your auto parts store. You will need a rubber grommet assortment and a washer assortment. I dont have the part# but will look for them. Remove the plastic wheel from the channel. Place the washer on the arm then the rubber grommet to hold in place. Insert the whole piece the channel. It is really easy.
