Anyone tried to fit a DII LR adventure rack on a DI? I know it's been done the other way. I would think it would just overhang by a few inches. Any thoughts? |

Yeah, go through the picture galleries. Don't remember who has it, but someone on here has one. |

Yup, I think someone on this board, maybe even V22 got flamed by John Lee for it... LOL |

Over the past year there's been quite a bit of discussion about a D2 rack on a D1. The rail mount points fit on the D1 rail perfectly and there is a couple of inches overhang that I think looks pretty good and works darn well - it allows just a little more rack space. I've had my D2 rack on my D1 since August 2001 |

No, that was me that got flamed for being afflicted by Short Rack Syndrome. No worries though. I took some penicillian and it cleared right up. |

hell guys please flame me...I love the looks of the D2 rack on a D1. so much so I want a D2 rack for my D1 ages ago I posted about the "Ulitimate" roof rack. and the overhang of the D22D1RC(lol)really makes the rack cover the top of the truck much nicer IMHO. Tim, great looking truck! |

Nope, wasn't me who got flamed. The D2 Rack on a D1 is doable. However a D1 rack on a D2 is questionable because of the inadequate length. And who says length doesn't matter |
