My "check engine" light came on a couple weeks ago so I have been trying to diagnose the problem. I consulted my mechanic and he mentioned that I need two new O2 sensors. The problem is I have 4 O2 sensors on my 1998 Disco. After I replaced the two that I thought were having the issue the "check engine" light has still not gone off. I went down to Autozone and I had them run a free diagnositic. They came up with 2 error codes 1193 and P0158. 1193 - EGR Drive Overcurrent P0158 - Bank 2 Sensor 2 Hogh Voltage. Questions: First off, I was wondering which O2 sensor is Bank 2 Sensor 2? Is it the passanger side farthest back? Secondly what is the 1193 error mean? Lastly, I thought I changed out the correct O2 sensors. Is there something I need to do to reset the "check engine" light? Thank you for any help you may provide... Badams |

Did you double check the sensor connection? |

Bank 2 sensor 2 is the sensor behind the cat on the P/S...is that the one you changed? High voltage could indicate a short in the plug. As for the 1193 if its obd2 then its gonna be P1193 Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Open Downstream Sounds like you need to check your connections. |

So it is probably the Bank2 Sensor2 that is not plugged in correctly or is bad? |

Checked connection and it seems tight. IS there something I need to do to reset the "check Engine" light? |
