Newbie D1 owner

Sorry newbie question here. Have access to a free LT230 outta a 2000 D2. Will it drop into a D1? I know about the CDL issues, as this one already has it. Any other differences I should know about? Newbie |

I don't know of anyone who has done this but I don't see why it won't work. You'll actually have a t-case thats able to handle more torque than your original t-case. |

I installed an LT230Q CDL out of an 00 SII Discovery in my 88 Range Rover. All LT230's have the same mounting points. |

I was under the impression that all D2's had LT230SE's. Wasn't the LT230Q used only on D1's and D90's with slush boxes? |
