When I'm on the freeway, cruising.....say around 66-80 mph, it's not smooth, at ALL. The truck shakes. And, Evem when I'm driving staright down the freeway, the steering wheel is leaning to the left slightly........and if I turn it so it is exactly dead center, I begin to veer right. Can the shaking/vibrations be due to the fact I need an alignment? maybe air in one or more tires? Balance?? Or is the vibe more likely due to another problem, maybe rotoflex?? It's a 1998 Disco I Thanks folks!! |

If your lifted than it is DS vibes, like Will is implying. If not, then Id start w/ tire balancing and again, if not lifted then steering wheel off is most likely due to an alignment problem. |

check that roto. hard to tell from just peering under the truck. you really have to get face to face with that rubber SOB and look for tiny cracks or twine coming out of the thing. even without a lift it can vibe. heavy off roading in low range stresses it pretty hard. just ask bluegill and i. |
