All, I am contemplating the purchase of a 1994 Disco, but need some good advice. The truck is in good shape except for the following and only has 65k miles on it. I know the owners as well. 1. The truck has been leaking water in the rear cargo area - mat is wet, additionally the rear side window seals are discolored. Do they leak from the side windows or would it be from the rear door or sunroof? (door & sunroof show no signs of leakage that I could tell). How much does it cost to replace the rear window seals? 2. There is some rust at the lower body seams (ones on either side that show when the rear door is opened). Is this serious and if so what is ball park $$ to get it fixed? No other rust on vehicle, except smal spot under hood on firewall that doesn't worry me much. Any opinions? Thanks, Jeff |

Check the alpine windows. That is more than likely the source of your leak. Thanks, Mike B. |
