I've seen lots of custom work done to accomodate all sorts of various gear in the back of Discos. Has anyone devised any kind of mount/securing device for securing a tire in the back load space of a d1? I was thinking of having it upright in the space where the jumpseats go -but not sure that there's even room there for it. ? |

Unless your running 26" tires, your not going to have the space for that. I have thought of deleting the bench seat in the rear and installing 2 bucket seats and putting the spare upright between them. Seems smart BUT I am not to keen on having the spare inside. Tires ALWAYS stay outsife of the truck, so why not keep them there? |
