SafariGard has an after-market bumper that allows you to use your existing hitch on a D1.

If the SG D1 bumper is like the D2's you don't want to do that one as without the rear skid the bumper rotates too much. |

Look in my gallery. My bumper incorporates the hitch and does away with the factory unit. |
