My headliner (95 disco) is sagging in a small spot (about 12"X6") and was wondering what the best way of repair might be. I was thinking of finding some type of spray glue with a straw attachement, poke a small hole in the headliner and spraying glue into the sag. is this the common way to repair this? Any other suggestions?

It will help for a little while but it won't stop the sag. My 99 D2 has been sagging in places since 2000 and each time the adhesive fixes it for a few months then stops working. It hasn't gotten any worse however.

Al, what type of glue did you use and where did you buy it from? Thanks.

Don't know what kind Al used but I have had great results with the 3M spray adhesives for this and other tasks.

The glue was the 3M stuff. The problem seems to be with the backing and not the glue itself. The backing will actually pull appart.

I have a can of that stuff at home but it doesnt have a straw extension. Is there some other way to spray inside the sag?

Try taking the nozzle and tube from a can of WD 40.
