Ex MOD rims: tire size?

Is the tire size for 16" Ex-MOD rims any different than the tires recommended on the door data label of my 98 D-I? I'm mounting winter tires on these like Dunlop Rovers. I'm not especially concerned about getting the "largest" tires I can wear, just good tires.
