See my gallery. It's a DII, but you can still get some ideas.

Remember Greg I begged you to build me one when you first posted your pics...

I know, I know. Jeez, I can't keep up with the DII stuff, let alone making things for DI's.

Well, it's not really custom. I think Hank is considering building his own and wanted to see what others have built.

Bye the way, did that container come in? Will I be getting my rack at MAR? (fingers crossed with baited breath!)

I'll agree on liking the TJM rear bumper, BTW... true, not "custom", but good, IMHO.

FWIW....

Take a look at the rockware rear bumper. A ton of good features. The projection along the bottom of the rear quarter panel is attached to the frame via a 2" tube. You can come off on a rock without any worry or damage. Other designs do not have such a stout connection build to abuse.

Brian....are you SURE you can come off a rock with that bumper? HHmmmm...wonder if that is from first hand experience:)

Brian I agree with your assesment that the tube should make it stout but I am wonder how well the anti-sway mounts are on there. Mine is bent/tweaked and the welds look pretty thin. I am going to guess that you would want to reenforce the welds there so you wont rip the connects from the frame.

For everyday use I love my TJM! But make no mistake, Kent Pollack's design is BAD ASS!!! Some people think it's a bit large, but I love it! Nice work Kent...

Jeremy thanks, next time I go down to rockware for some additions I'll see what they can do. I have not heard of any problems related to this, but seems like a rather easy modification to make as are additions like light and body guards.

As the other Brian eluded to, I do have some personal experience with using the bumper for its intended use/abuse. It certainly has done much better than my previous stock bumper!

BTW, isn't almost everything about Kent's vehicle badass? I think the suspension is my personal favorite.
