Temp gauge hot when start

Author Message   jim Posted on Tuesday, October 01, 2002 - 10:22 pm:    When I start my disco my temp gauge goes right up to hot and takes for ever to settle. I doubt it is over heating since it happens even when I start it when it is cold. Any help would be appreciated. jim
