I've replaced my tail light bulb 5 times and even replaced the socket it fits into. How do I go about finding this short? Been pulled over twice because of this - even given a sobriety test because a cop smelled the one beer I had on my breath. Ive gotta get this fixed. Thanks in advance |

I had the problem on the other side. Fixed it by pulling the entire fuse box, cleaning up all the contacts, and making sure the box was fixed back in securely. The fault seemed to be caused when the box moved on its mountings. Good luck, Tim |

You might also be using the wrong bulb. double check another disco and see what the wattage is, I did this once and nearly melted the lens before it shorted again. |
