Hi. I was riding in a 94 Defender 90 a couple months ago and noticed that the truck had a level guage on the dash (nothing fancy, just a bubble type). It was really simple, just marked off where 45 degrees was so the driver knew exactly where he was in relation to tip angle. Is there such a thing for Discos? Also, has anyone ever tried to hang a cargo net from the ceiling of the back cargo area? Sort of like what the Xterras have where there are 4 hooks in the ceiling that the cargo net clips into. The hanging cargo nets seem to be a good place to put fishing rods and light items like that. Thanks, Alan (PS: not that this makes much of a difference to the questions, but mine's a 98 D1) |

No problem, you might want to search around a little though because they do make two sizes of them even though 4x4 connection only seems to be selling one. -Carter |

I thought Atlantic British carried both the small one as well as the larger one, they came with sticky stuff to mount with as well |

I mounted mine on my stering wheel. That way I would know in advance what the roll meter looks like as I tumble down a mountain. |

do you remember the old toyota station wagon thing that had them mounted in the dash..they were little artificial horizons that had pictures of the car and would act like a roll meter...I always used to get a kick out of those things! |

Spector Off-Road has the in dash FJ60/62 landcruiser levels in stock on their web site-used for $125.00, plus it includes a clock. Go to www.sor.com and enter the "Oz Files" parts location for the 60 series cruisers. Pretty cool! |
