At the moment I'm still debating whether to get an ARB winch bumper or a Terrain Master winch bumper. My question is will the LR HD springs work to hold up either bumper and a winch? I don't want to lift my Rover as I'm having too much fun with it in its stock form! What do you guys think? Thanks in advance!

the HD springs lift it about an inch or an inch and a half, I run them with OME shocks. ITs great.

So, they should be able to take the weight then?

I ran the LR HD springs on my D2 back a few years. Itt ran stock height with an ARB bumper and X9 winch. With the bumper alone the ride was okay. But I think the winch pushed it over the edge a little and the ride felt a little mushy.

Just another side note... the D2 LR HD springs are just the standard springs used in the Td5 but its also what LR uses when you have them install their winch.

So, I guess an ARB might be out then. Maybe they will work better with the Terrain Master? If not I may go with the LR winch cradle.

Brian, I haven't done a Wednesday in a long time. You have to drive too far just to have fun and my lack of sleep just won't permit that. That's why Thursday's work out so much better.

I've heard of people on this board running them with an ARB and they say they hold it up fine.

Take a look at my photogallery for a Terrainmaster with winch and LR HD spings (from 110 via Rovers North).

That is a sweet rig Chris! Obviously, the HD springs are holding the weight just fine. How much, if any, lift did the 110 springs give you? How much did the fronts settle once the extra weight was put on? Thanks for the picture's and the info!
