Well - looks like me diff bearings took an almighty crap on me yesterday - I've taken the diff off the truck, but how the hell do I undo the nut holding the flange on? 0|0 -0- 0|0 How's that for a technical diagram??? That's looking at the flange that the front driveshaft bolts on to - the bolt I'm trying to undo is in the middle and doesn't want to move....help!!! I'm stuck with a 2wd Disco! Is it a reverse thread or something wierd? The damn thing just won't move... |

Ok - managed to get the bolt out......How do I get the flange off the spingle? It seems pretty well stuck on there - any tricks I should know about? |

after the nut is removed it pretty much just slips off... |

Mine certainly doesn't want to slip - is there anything else holding it on other than the one bolt? I've heated it, got the puller on it, beat the crap out of it, called it really bad names, and nothing's moving it! Anyone here personal friends with Mr. T.? Bet he could shift it |
