im getting ready to buy a 96(probably (or around there)) discovery and i was looking for some books or some kind of manuals that cover the whole car in detail for repairing and maintance purposes
anyone know of what they are?

I think your only choices are the official shop manual and the Haynes manual. I am pretty sure these are the only ones but I could be wrong.

Also, search on eBay...The shop manual on CD is almost always for sale.

4x4 connection has the haynes manual, it is for the 3.9 but almost most everything is the same.
