I plan on buying steel rims for my larger/offroad tires. I saw steel rims from Alantic British for my Dll, but noticed an astrisk stating the rims were for stock tires only. Anyone know why or have experience with AB steel rims? Thanks. David |

Sometimes I think AB has their head up their ass. I've used them and contiue to do so but for the longest time they were only selling 18" rims for the D2. I can't see why you can only use "stock size tires" on that rim but I would love to hear their reason for this. Is it me or has AB been much quicker to offer Freelander "stuff" than it has for the D2? |

" Sometimes I think AB has their head up their ass." They offer 265/75 MT/R's at the bargain price of 300 bucks. PER TIRE! |

AB thrives because of the "stereotypical" rover owner who has HIS head up his ass. They sell 4x4 equipment for 40%-50% more than other vendors to people who are to lazy to do a little shopping and who will typically never use the stuff as intended. The same people who give the rest of us a rep as elitist fools amongst the rest of the 4WD community. |

I have the AB steel wheels for the D2 (shallow b/s) and have had 31, 32s on them with no problems. Next I will put 33s on them. |

Michael, What are the BS on them? And are these the 16x8 or 16x7 wheels? |

Thanks for the info. Does anyone know where I could buy these rims for less? |
