Living inthe Northeast. My discoii is coming off lease in a few months and I have option of buying with 50000 miles for $22500 or paying $2000 in mileage charges. It's been a great car - no major problems - loaded leather sunroofs third rear seats etc.. |

Don't forget about paying sales tax on the $22,500 after you purchase it. Around $1500 at 7%. Makes the $2000 savings go away really fast if you can turn around and buy the same year from a dealer for less. What year? Is the car worth $22,500 in your area and do you want it? It all adds up to how you feel about the car and how long you want to keep it. Tom |

Go and check out the 2003's. It might be a good time to make the jump to the new model. I hear the new ones are pretty nice. The 4.6 will be really nice in the hills and for passing. I'm thinking the 2003 is one of those years that one would hang onto rather than trading in at the end of a lease. Thanks, Mike B. |
