greetings fellow dwebers.

went down to EE today and had this new product called equal installed in my tires.

i have 235-85's with about 10k miles on them. and there were starting to get lumpy/noisey - thought i might need to get new meats even though there is plenty of tread left.

30 minutes later - it was done and went for a test drive. AMAZING! the ride is now almost plush - just as it was when new. i also had what i thought was driveling vib. nope - it was the tires.

what a difference!!

Yeah, I've had Equal in for a couple of months, it balances real well, but please, I wouldn't EVER want my Land Rover to ride like a "freakin' cadillac", it's a Land Rover, not a land yacht.

Steve,
at what psi are you running your bridgestones? I am having some trouble with sawtooth pattern wear. I got the equal too, and it helps, but still a problem.

marc

yes - been observing odd wear myself. was running 29f 39r and the wear pattern showed up. john put 40 all around yesterday so we'll see what happens. i also think my driving technique on paved roads is a factor :-) (what do you mean this car isn't an audi quattro?)

i really like the bridgies - but the wear was a concern. the equal has made a HUGE difference.

very pleased.

steve
ps - where dem pics??
