Anyone know how much / what type of diff oil is needed for a front D1 diff? |

If I remember correctly my manual says 1.8 quarts, I'd say a full 2 wouldn't hurt it though. |

about 2 quarts, lift the axle up that you're working on to get a little bit more in (elevate the fill hole) |

fill it till you get oil coming out of the fill hole.. plug the hole for 10 (maybe longer if its cold) and try to add some more (the time lets the oil settle to the ends of the cavity.... don't want to over fill.. just make sure its close to or just coming out of the fill hole. |
